Art Casting of Illinois, Inc. will help you find shipping solutions. If necessary, we will arrange for pick-up and delivery. If you cannot come out to deliver your piece, and would like to send it by mail, please remember to use a new or sturdy box, with "fragile" clearly marked on all sides. After packing it using ample padding, shake the box to see if anything inside moves. If you have packed your piece well, you will hear nothing. Sometimes artists would like to ship wax. If you decide to do this, please understand that the weather effects wax dramatically. Cold wax will break and warm wax will distort. It is always a good idea to send detailed photographs with any piece you send by mail. We also will ship finished pieces by mail.
